We wanted to share with you  a bit about our lovely fellow Thread Head April’s ventures into creating her Pussy Bow Blouse from Sew Over It’s wonderful pattern.

When we saw the pic she sent along to us, we thought, yup, we definitely need to share this one on the blog!  Isn’t it gorgeous?

April felt confident taking on the project thanks to the  well-written and illustrated instructions despite this being her first-ever blouse.  Yeah, we know!  Hard to believe, right?!

April’s says of her experience with the Sew Over It pattern, ‘I love love this pattern and it is the first top I have made!  I really needed to start simple.  I made it out of a lightweight rayon fabric which helped with the drape. The instructions and diagrams really helped and were very clear.  I loved the fact there were no darts and the only fastening were buttons on the cuffs with loops which i liked.  I will be definitely making another!’

Can we have a few air punches and ‘woo-hoo’s’ for April’s blouse?
