Sew Liberated sewing patterns are designed in America by author, blogger, sewist, teacher, mum and designer Meg McElwee. Since 2007 Meg, along with her husband and small, but talented team, has created patterns seeded in the ethos that handmade is the means for liberating yourself from consumer culture by using traditional means to make something completely unique and modern. She celebrates the joy of the handmade with her rustic chic style created especially for natural fabrics – that means quilting fabrics and dressmaking fabrics can work for many of her designs!
